About Alpine Chiropractic
Dr. Anne Thompson, D.C.
I was born and raised in Oregon, graduating from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science. I then went on to graduate from Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area, earning my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. I am certified in Active Release Technique and am a member of the International Chiropractic Association.
My passion for chiropractic came from my own health struggle. I enjoyed being active and had spent 15 years as a competitive swimmer, competed with the National USA Triathlon Team in college and ran the Portland Marathon. But I was plagued with debilitating migraine headaches and was ultimately diagnosed in my senior year of college with obstructive hydrocephalus. I had brain surgery for the condition and after surgery needed to regain motor control, proprioception, concentration, focus, and confidence in my ability to study and perform as a student and athlete. Chiropractic care helped me regain my health and well-being as I took charge of my life.
I learned how chiropractic care and modifications to both diet and lifestyle can help prevent and reverse disease. As a result, I specialize in helping people regain or optimize their health through chiropractic, diet, exercise and lifestyle modifications through having a deep, personal understanding of the need to find the root of the problem. I work to find it, fix it and then rebuild health. I am committed to providing effective and personalized chiropractic care for the entire family.
When I’m not seeing patients, I love to be active and keep my body in motion. You can find me sweating it out in the nearest spin studio or yoga class!
